For Instructors and TAs

The Research Mentoring TA Manual is an open-source guide for teaching assistants who supervise student research projects. Fourteen chapters cover feedback on research questions, code, empirical results, and writing; collaboration-hour protocol; AI-era guidelines; grading calibration; and common student problems, with rubrics, templates, an onboarding workshop, two worked cases, and a feedback quiz for TA training. Read it as a single PDF.

The Econ Data TA is an AI coach for project-based data courses, written as a system prompt any instructor can copy. It explains and debugs but will not complete graded work.
